arent they cute?what an experience! eventhought i'm still fatique, tired and having a backache but i was enjoying my stay in Pahang. we managed to visit 2 villages. that was in Kg. Runchang and Pos Betau in Pahang.

overall they lived below poverty. they have a basic necessities. with no electricity and clen water. they dont even bother about educations eventhough they been provided with schools with good infrastructure. but the problem is they dont have good transportation to go to school.they kids was eager to learn but most of the time they couldnt catch up with the syllabus. they speak their own language so bahasa melayu is their second language. so you know how difficult for them to grab the subject.

but they love entertainment. they can sing well and most of them have good voices.so the way to tackle them is with song. you can see how lively they are when they sing a song. you name one song they can know. amazing! maybe we can introduce something like learning through a song for them? hope the education ministry can do something about this so they can be better in their academic achievement.

Field Work In Pahang

it has been long time, i know. i have lots of idea what to write but i just couldnt put it in my blog. finally after came back from SOPD( sorry i dont know what it is stand for but it is one of the department in general hospital.) few weeks ago i needed to go for a medical check up. they did blood and urine test and also an ultrasound. but everything turn out to be okay. i was so happy to hear this news. now i can keep my appointment cards away safe in my drawer and no need to worry things like how is my kidney doing or when is exactly my appointment is. nice huh?

today i'm going to pack my things. where to? hmmm..after hustle and bustle about what kind of leave do i have to take from school..now everything is settled. they finally agreed that i was entitled to my Cuti Kursus Sambilan. actually i'm going to penempatan orang asli (orang asli is a native peoples in this country). as a sociologist i need to be with them, talk and observe them for 5 days.this is a part of my phd field work.i will focus about their education and career. i hope i can help do something in the future to help them to live in a better conditions and make they understand that education is a tool..a social mobility for them to improve their social economic status especially for the children.its not an easy job but if i can change their perception even a little bit i am happy..

how do i feel? i dont know what to expect yet. i hope i can enjoy my stay there and collect as many datas i can.there is a long way to go but i always positive. will update you soon about my experiences. see ya!

Family Picnic In Lubuk Petai

during Chinese New Year holidays we went to a waterfall nearby called Lubuk Petai. It was fun because all of my siblings were there. to whom who dont know where Lubuk Petai is, its actually located near Gunung Datuk, Rembau.

the water is crystal clear with lots of rocks around it. its so cold i tell you..i was shivering like nobody business after the dip in the pool.

i was regret not taking any picture because it was not planned at all. actually my ex classmate told me about this waterfall. It was a about 50 meters from her mom's house.

but my siblings and me already planned another trip to Lubuk Petai soon. This time we are going to put a tent and bring some foods to indulge after the swim. it was really fun and i cant wait to go again.it was really a surprise because its quite near from my kampung also. all this while i know only about Ulu Bendul in Kuala Pilah and Jeram Toi in Jelebu. It was really a nice one and clean too. The best apart is not many people know about this waterfall so i can tell you its still lushes and pure not like any other commercialize waterfall.

so which waterfall you have been to and tell me about it.maybe i can take a visit one day. my ultimate dream of course to visit Niagara Fall one day. hope my wish will comes true. amin.

Which Phone? Iphone or Blackberry?

i need a new phone. the one that i have been used for so many year was Sony Erickson. somebody had bough it for me in Dubai. it was a special phone. i have so many good and bad memories with that phone.but now it has stop working..

i remember one day when my ex school mates arranging a reunion dinner for us in Allson Klana. i drove myself that nite. then i received a phone call from one of my family member who wanted to make sure i was safely arrived. after that i put the phone on my lap. when i arrived at the hotel it was raining cats and dogs. i totally forgotten about my phone because i was busy looking for an umbrella to avoid being wet in the rain.

when i met my old friends they i became very excited. some of them, i had not see for so may years. we ate and laughed especially when we talked about our old days in school. all of us were in boarding school. so, there were so many stories to share among us. i really enjoyed it that time until one of my best friend asked me where was my phone because my family had tried to reach me but with no avail.

i frantically tried to search in in my handbag but i could not find it.then suddenly i remembered the last time i saw it was on my lap. i excused myself and ran to my car. it was still raining at that time. when i reached my car..there it was.. lying on the road was my orange colored phone! soaking wet! i felt like crying man.. it was almost about 2 hours raining!

but amazingly it was still working well.i called my family and told them i was safe and my phone i had left it in the car!hahaha...

so back to my first intentions..which brand should i buy this time? i used Nokia, Motorolla and Samsung before..maybe i need aan Iphone or Blackberry this time? can somebody suggest it to me..anyone?

but now i need to do some window shopping at the nearest phone shop maybe in Jusco. budget? hmmmm that is the most important thing that i have to bear in mind...angpow anyone?

what am i going to do?

i was a little bit tired. i have been asked by my supervisor to teach his masters student classes. it's only once a week but i have to prepare for my notes and etc. i'm not going to teach primary school students here..teaching them was so easy i can do it with my eyes blindfolded. but adult students? i hope i wont be stammering then..but oh my..i was mentally tired.

Ministry of Education has been offering teachers some kind of scholarship but without the 'RM'. they giving us some sort of full salary leave for us to further our study. but when i access the portal i kind of pissed off. it is because the subject that i've been taking on was not offered. so thats mean i cannot apply for it! i mean why they just offer it to all? i called them and the answer was that is up the the ministry to offer what they want to offer..sigh! i love to do what i'm doing right now but it will burden me if i cannot take the leave. i need it badly! i have to go to the perkampungan orang asli to get my data done. how on earth i'm going to do that if i have to go to school everyday? i can go during the school holidays but i need to observe the students doing their learning in school too? hope i will find answer to this problem soon...:(
