How To Study In Group

Tips on how to study effectively in group for the students.

1. Make sure that the group is not too big. 3 to 5 peoples are enough. If more than that it will become group of talking and do nothing.

2. Focus only to the topic that you want to discuss.

Salam Kak Waliz,

I am not a big fan of study group at the beginning, but since I stepped into university, I HAVE to study in group. Too many references, too many ideas need to be digested and the workloads are need to be tackled carefully.

My favorite condition to do a study group is at my campus' library where the air-cond is freakingly cold (I love cold places :P) and with 3-4 people only. We usually had studied the topic that we want to discuss beforehand, so that everyone will has a general idea of what the topic is all about. :)

I really hate study groups. Even within my discipline they always erupt into "lets talk about sh!t thats going on" groups.

I find that the best way for me to study is at a clean desk, with all the information I need and not too many distractions.
